Is a chair mat worth it?
We definitely think they are. They protect flooring from indentations, scuffs and other marks, and from spills. Chair mats also make it much easier to move within your workspace than moving your chair on a carpet all day, which could cause back & leg pain. -
Do chair mats ruin carpet?
No, a chair mat will not ruin your carpet. In fact, it does the exact opposite! It protects your carpet from uneven wear and tear caused by daily use and the wheels / weight of your office chair whilst you're seated in it. -
How do I choose a chair mat?
Make sure that you choose a chair mat that fits your work area, but it shouldn't be too big that forces you to place your other office furniture on top of it as well, as chair mats are only designed to support the weight of you and your office chair.
