Hide video transcript Show video transcript

When it comes to L-shape or executive desk options. I really think we have a top range, starting at the leg profiles, you've got your wood finishes. You've got your legs. You got your panel legs. You've got your square right through to your desktops where we've got a number of different sizes where you can do anything from an 1800 big top by 800 deep, right through to a 1200 x 800 or 700 deep.

If you're looking for something a little bit more narrow, potentially in your home in a number of different colors from your natural Oaks, right through to your whites and your Maples, you come over here with me. You know, you could do an L-shape just with a normal corner panel and a leg. But what we like to do is actually start to create a solution.

So you'll see here, we've got to what we call a lateral filing unit, where you can put some hanging files. We could also do this combination with sliding door credenzas or even what we call two-door or four-door uniform 750 solutions as a corner, instead of just the normal L-shape corner desk, you can do something quite smart, where, you get a bit of a storage solution.

Customers Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is an L shaped desk better?

L-shaped desks have better support for your arms while working on a computer. They make it easy to reach everything without straining your arms. At the same time, you can quickly contact other people at the desk without standing or leaning towards the monitor.
  • Is an L shaped desk the same as a corner desk?

Corner desks differ from L-desks in having only one desk surface instead of two, and often only two lifting columns instead of three (saving 50% on the cost of the base).
  • Can you put an L-shaped desk in the middle of a room?

While you can put your desk against a wall, in many cases, regular desks can be placed almost anywhere, including in the middle of the room, perpendicular to a wall, or in front of a window.

L-Shaped Desks

Whether you want to create an office space or are setting up your home office, L-shaped desks are a great option to consider. L-shaped desks are exactly what it sounds like. It has two sides, one of them is longer than the other to form a 90-degree corner.

Some L-shaped desks feature both sides of the same length, while others make one of the sides shorter. Either way, they offer a main table space plus an additional space for productivity and storage. L-shaped desks are more space-efficient, provide better ergonomics and a larger workspace, and it’s perfect for multitasking.

It’s also essential to consider features. L-shaped desks are not made the same, so you’ll find a lot of different features. One of the main ones is storage, which is a problem for many of us.
